I have received the test kit from the lab. Now what do I do?

Now that you have received the test kit be sure to follow the instructions in this site. Please read all instructions before you begin.

You will to do either the Random Baseline Test or the Challenge Test.

The Random Baseline Test

The baseline test (no activated liquid zeolite drops are used) requires that you collect urine using only the small cup supplied in the box. You may dispose of the large blue jug. This collection could take an hour or less. Detailed instructions are here.

The Challenge Test

The challenge test (using the activated liquid zeolite drops) and urine collection for 16 hours. You collect all of the urine into the blue jugs, using two if needed. At the end of the 16 hour collection time you then mix the urine well to distribute any metals that may have sunk to the bottom of the jugs. Then you pipette a small sample into the two vials per the lab test kit directions. The two vials are then labeled. Detailed instructions are here.

Do not follow any of the instructions supplied in the test kit other than the instructions on how to prepare the urine samples for shipping. See also "How to fill out the lab requisition form" for additional instructions.
